NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Former University of Evansville great Krista Blunk was one of 18 women named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2014 Silver Anniversary Team, based on outstanding accomplishments as a senior high school basketball player 25 years ago.
A native of Tell City, Ind., Blunk was one of 10 1989 Indiana All-Stars selected to the Silver Anniversary team and produced a standout career for the Purple Aces from 1989-1993. During her four-year career, Blunk scored 1,123 career points at UE, a mark that still stands as the 12th most in program history, and sank 113 career three-point field goals, which ranks eighth all-time at Evansville.
